There’s an excellent article on the Guided Chaos system of self defence that has just been published in The Forensic Examiner, the official peer-reviewed journal of the American College of Forensic Examiners International, the non-profit complementary division to the American College of Forensic Examiners Institute.
The Guided Chaos article is based on an interview with Lt. Col. Al Ridenhour USMC, co-author of the Guided Chaos bible Attack Proof: The Ultimate Guide To Personal Protection.

Today was the first Guided Chaos seminar of the year at Unity. The 3 hour class conducted by Guided Chaos black belt Mick James covered various aspects of this unique system of self defence. …no outdoor footwear in the academy please. You will understand that in order to keep the dojo as clean possible for barefoot training and to eliminate the possibility of staph infections to our students and visitors. Please leave your shoes in the entranceway. Shoe racks will be provided soon for your convenience.
